At Embu Teachers Training College, academics go beyond the classroom. Our programs are built around competency-based training, practical teaching experiences, and the integration of modern pedagogy and digital tools. As a constituent of Embu College, we ensure that all our courses are KNEC-accredited and aligned with national standards.
Equips future teachers with the skills and knowledge to handle Grade 1 to Grade 6, aligned with the CBC curriculum.
All diploma programs at Embu TTC run for 3 academic years (3 terms per year), including classroom instruction, micro-teaching, and teaching practice. Each year is divided into three terms, with internal and KNEC assessments guiding student progress.
We believe the best learning happens in real settings. All diploma students undertake teaching practice in approved partner schools under supervision. This helps reinforce lesson planning, classroom management, and delivery skills.
